A Full-fledged Upgrade
M1 V3 75% Aluminum Barebone features a full-fledged upgrade to the noise reduction system, and provides greater flexibility for experimenting with different sound profiles than before.

An additional PET layer attached to the top of the PCB;

A thicker around 3.0mm top white Poron case foam (with socket cut-outs) integrated with another PET layer for better sound locking and noise reduction;

A switch pad/film features premade cross perforations for keeping a good seal for the best possible effect on the sound of the keyboard.

Plate-mounted & Screw-in Stabilizers
M1 V3 barebone kit now features pre-installed plate-mounted TPU double-shot stabilizers, a change from the original M1 QMK, aimed at streamlining the assembly process and offering convenience for keyboard beginners. Additionally, it includes extra PCB Mount/Screw-in stabilizers to accommodate the varied preferences of users.
Fully Upgraded Knob
This adjustment is based on user experience and feedback. M1 V3 Series features a new encoder and a levitating structure to avoid scratches against the case, as reported in the previous version.

South-facing PCB
The south-facing PCB of M1 v3 avoids causing interference with Cherry profile keycaps, offering more compatibility and flexibility.
Customizable RGB
M1 V3 offers approximately 20 preset backlight modes, which allow users to adjust the brightness and flowing speed levels. Moreover, it supports a wide range of RGB effects, with over 16.8 million colors available. Users can also install a JSON file to access even more lighting effects and configurations.
N-Key Rollover
The N-Key Rollover technology allows all keys to work simultaneously and ensures every keystroke is recorded and prevents ghosting.
Polycarbonate Plate
M1 V3 QMK keyboard diy kit utilizes a PC plate to offer flexibility surpassing that of metal, while also reducing low-frequency resonance.

i just got this keyboard and its amazing. Monsgeek has really done amazing job on the V3. couldnt be happier with it. The new upgraded knob is so nice to use and looks way better now. Pre installed plate mount stabs are pretty nice too didnt need to do much with them. Modding and tweaking this keeb is really easy to do and made a massive improvement. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone. one thing is seems to be this time around it didnt come with their sticky paper for masking tape. Instead i got a very thin sticky foam layer that i put on the bottom. so not too sure if this was a mistake or not but thats ok

Additionally, the separate case foam included is for customization, and the tape has been removed in the M1 V3 Series.

I bought the M1 V3 one week ago and shipping to Germany was very, very fast (Yun Express and DHL). I opted for some switches (Creamy Blue Pro and Penguin), as well as keycaps as add-ons. Unfortunately, ISO German Keycaps are super rare and the “ASA Clear Keycap Set Black V2” I opted for doesn’t come with an ISO return/enter keycap. I am using the caps from my old keyboard temporarily for that reason. I was in contact with Monsgeek support because of this and they added this information to the title of the keycap add-on set and were overall very helpful. Thanks!
The keyboard itself is great and sounds fantastic. It is my 2nd mechanical keyboard after switching from a 7 year old G610 Brown, which sounds and feels cheap compared to the M1 V3. I love the heavy aluminum frame, as well as the improved knob which turns buttery smooth. The configuration of the keyboard with VIA works like a charm. Overall, I would recommend Monsgeek any day so far. The switches are really nice as well.
